GNEC and the BOC Network created the Entrepreneurs of Color COVID-19 Relief Fund as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing economic downturn. The program is focused on deploying capital to small businesses owned by minority entrepreneurs in the City of Newark and surrounding towns. The program’s goal is to rapidly deploy capital and technical assistance to enable impacted minority-owned businesses that are their most vulnerable to gain immediate economic relief, medium term resiliency, and long-term sustainability.

The Entrepreneurs of Color COVID-19 Relief Fund is offering microloans of up to $60,000, with highly competitive interest rates and terms. Prospective clients will go through our loan underwriting process.
