WHY: For those firms who are already certified obtaining an additional certification can only increase your business opportunities.

Example 1: Your firm is currently listed as a certified MBE. A member of your firm attended the 2022 National Airport Rental Car Supplier Diversity Outreach Day and want to begin the vendor process. The car rental facility asks if you are ACDBE certified to meet their diversity goals. What is your response?

Example 2: Your firm is currently listed as a certified SBE and you want to submit a bid on a federally funded project where there are DBE goals. The bid is due in two weeks. To increase your chances for this business opportunity you begin the DBE certification process, but it might take approximately 6 weeks to become certified. What do you do?

We want to make sure you are ready for any opportunity available by the Port Authority so join us to learn about the different certification requirements this month!
